Spontaneous Work Stoppage at Limassol Hotels

A spontaneous, short-term work stoppage took place this morning at three Atlantica group hotels in Limassol (Atlantica Miramare, Atlantica Oasis, and Atlantica Bay).

According to a statement by SEK, the workers are demanding the full implementation of their Collective Agreement and the safeguarding of all their rights.

It is reported that despite repeated contacts with the company, there has been no progress, leading the workers to react spontaneously. SEK denounces violations of the collective agreement and obstruction of trade union activity, as well as intimidation tactics. Complaints have already been filed with the Department of Labour Relations.
