DEH: Founding Member of the UN Global Compact's 'Alliance for Sustainable Procurement'

DEH (Public Power Corporation S.A.) is a founding member of the international initiative 'Alliance for Sustainable Procurement' of the UN Global Compact, aiming to promote procurement as a key driver for sustainability and competitiveness.

The initiative aims to support businesses towards sustainable and responsible supply chains, aligning them with European standards (ESRS) and developing ESG risk assessment tools.

Zorzetta Christodoulopoulou, General Manager of Procurement for the DEH Group, stated that participation creates a common reference point for transparent practices. Achilleas Ioakeimidis, General Manager of Sustainable Development for DEH, emphasized that the initiative strengthens cooperation and alignment with international standards.

DEH's participation is part of its strategy to integrate the principles of sustainable development.

The UN Global Compact is the world's largest global initiative for corporate responsibility, with over 20,000 businesses and organizations from 160 countries.
