What does the Common Agricultural Policy mean to you? It means growth, development.
Do you think the goals set by the CAP are good? Yes, they are good goals, but attention is needed so that the programs can be utilized.
Does the Common Agricultural Policy help young farmers? Young farmers in particular have enough financial incentives from the European Union to be able to proceed with the purchase of modern agricultural machinery, very important, and other agricultural tools.
Which crop do you consider most important? First cereals and then perishable crops.
Would you encourage young people to get involved in agriculture? I would definitely encourage them because they have enough incentives to move forward.
Does the CAP ensure the quality of products? Absolutely, because there is more control.
Through the CAP, do farmers have access to new technologies? They are given the opportunity to have them, for sure.
What would you change in the plans of the Common Agricultural Policy? If we avoid even a little bureaucracy, it will surely benefit.
Are you satisfied with the CAP measures? In general, the programs are beneficial, they help young people a lot.
What is the biggest challenge for farmers today? In general, drought is the problem we have in Cyprus.
