Dragonfly: Superyacht Consumes as Much Electricity as 580 Homes

The luxury megayacht Dragonfly, owned by Sergey Brin, has been spotted in the port of Malaga. The ship's construction cost $450 million.
The Dragonfly's daily electricity consumption costs up to ā¬8,400, equivalent to the consumption of 580 homes. When disconnected from the port, the hotel load system is activated, supporting all the ship's functions, including air conditioning, kitchens, and elevators.
The HVAC system is the largest energy consumer, maintaining constant temperature and humidity throughout the vessel.
