Inspection Campaign for Hotels and Restaurants by the Department of Labor Inspection

The Department of Labor Inspection (ΤΕΕ) of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance will conduct a special inspection campaign in hotels, restaurants, and food delivery establishments during the period of April-October 2026.

The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness among all stakeholders to minimize workplace accidents and occupational diseases. It will consider the main causes of accidents, such as the use of sharp objects, falls, contact with hot surfaces, overturning shelves, contact with biological agents, the use of chemicals, and transportation by motorcycles.

The campaign aims to monitor employers' compliance with the legislation on Safety and Health at Work, the implementation of protection and prevention measures, and the provision of training on safety and health issues.
