Greek Exports to the US: Impact of Trump's Tariffs

With the White House Executive Order, the retaliatory tariff on many products was abolished from November 13, in an effort to mitigate the cost of living.
The list of products that are exempt includes kiwis, cherries, coffee, pastries, petroleum asphalt, mercury oxides and medicines. However, important export products such as canned fruits and vegetables, olives, olive oil, fish and aluminum and iron profiles are not included.
The overall picture of Greek exports to the US shows differentiation by sector. Some products showed resilience, while others were significantly affected by the new tariff regime.
The presence of new codes in the market and the strengthening of export categories highlight opportunities, while the decline of traditional products underlines the need to strengthen competitiveness.
