Cyprus-Qatar Energy Cooperation: Meeting in Doha

The Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Giorgos Papanastasiou, undertook a working visit to Qatar and met with the Qatari Minister of Energy, Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, in Doha.

The focus of the meeting was the prospect of Cyprus-Qatar energy cooperation, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations in the field of energy.

The two Ministers discussed ways to enhance cooperation and develop joint initiatives, paving the way for new projects and investment prospects.

The discussion is part of Nicosia's efforts to strengthen its position in the Eastern Mediterranean through strategic alliances.
