€9,000 Grants Reallocated for Electric Vehicles in Cyprus

The Department of Road Transport has announced the reallocation of €9,000 grants for electric vehicles, following the cancellation of 8 applications in category Γ9 of the Electric Vehicle Promotion Scheme in Cyprus.

Applications will reopen on the online portal on September 18, 2025, at 09:00 a.m.

Important dates:

• The application portal will be deactivated on September 16 (24:00) and reactivated on September 18 (09:00).
• Applications can be submitted until September 20, 2025, at 24:00, or until the available grants are exhausted.

Category Γ9 concerns a grant of €9,000 for the purchase of a used electric vehicle for private use with zero CO2 emissions.

Vehicles registered in the Registry of the Registrar of Motor Vehicles before the application date are not eligible.

The approval of supplementary applications must be completed no later than October 31, 2025.
