€250 Allowance & Rent Refund: Payment Dates

Low-income pensioners will receive a €250 allowance and rent refund on Friday, November 28th, without application. The payment is automatic, due to bank hours, instead of Sunday, November 30th.

Beneficiaries:

• Pensioners over 65 years old (by December 31, 2024) with a main pension (not temporary) in September 2025.
• Uninsured elderly (67+ years).
• Recipients of disability benefits from OPEKA and e-EFKA, regardless of income criteria.

Income Criteria:

• Single: Up to €14,000 annual income and real estate up to €200,000.
• Married/Civil Partnership: Up to €26,000 annual income and real estate up to €300,000.

The rent refund concerns cases where tenants paid larger amounts than stipulated or there were differences in their declarations.
