Heating Allowance: First Installment Payment Date
The first installment of the heating allowance for the period 2025-2026 will be paid by Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
The payment concerns fuel purchases invoiced until November 30, 2025, for beneficiaries who registered their details by December 5, 2025.
The heating allowance is tax-free and non-attachable, ranging from 100 to 800 euros, and up to 1,200 euros in areas with low temperatures.
Fuel purchase dates are:
- Heating oil: from October 15, 2025
- Natural gas, electricity and other heating systems: from October 1, 2025
- Firewood or pellets (biomass): from June 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026
The second installment will be paid by May 29, 2026 and concerns purchases from October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. For firewood and pellets, the documents must be issued by April 15, 2026.
The third and final payment concerns natural gas or district heating and will be made by July 31, 2026, covering consumption from October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
