2025 Tax Returns: Checking Pre-filled Information

According to the schedule, the online platform for submitting returns is expected to open on March 16. It is estimated that this year, the number of pre-filled returns will exceed 1.5 million for employees and pensioners.

Taxpayers should check the following:

• Income and tax withholdings: If errors are found, contact the issuing entity.
• Electronic expenses: Confirm coverage of 30% of taxable income.
• Living expenses (Tekmiria): Check for potential increases in imputed income.
• Dependent children: Correct declaration to reduce tax.

In any case, taxpayers have the option to submit an amended return until July 15, 2026.

Tax payment is made in eight monthly installments, with the first due at the end of July. Discounts are available for lump-sum payments.
