Boeing in Talks with China to Sell 500 Aircraft

Boeing is in negotiations with China for the sale of up to 500 aircraft, according to Bloomberg News.
The two sides are discussing details such as aircraft models and delivery schedules. A deal could be the focus of a trade agreement between the world's two largest economies.
A major deal would be a significant step forward for Boeing in the world's second-largest aviation market. It would also help Boeing close the gap with rival Airbus.
Chinese officials have begun consulting with domestic airlines about their requirements for Boeing aircraft.
Earlier this year, Boeing secured major orders from Qatar Airways and AviLease.
