PepsiCo Pays the Price for High Doritos Prices

PepsiCo's aggressive pricing policy on snacks, particularly Doritos, has resulted in decreased revenue and pressure on Frito-Lay's sales.
The company's decision to raise prices on popular products, such as Doritos which reached up to $7 a bag, drove consumers away.
At Walmart, the price of Doritos had increased by 50% since 2021. Despite the reduction of shelf space for Frito-Lay products, prices remained high.
