Israel: Surge in Tourist Arrivals in Paphos

After a year-long absence due to military operations in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Iran, tourist arrivals from Israel to Paphos have surged in the last month.
Airlines from the neighboring country are recording up to four or more flights daily to and from Paphos International Airport. The flights include the entire fleet of Israeli airlines, including EL Al, as well as the Cyprus-based TUS. Ryanair remains absent from the routes.
Although it is too late to regain Israel's dominant position on the island's tourist map, the increase in flights is being viewed positively by local authorities, who are hoping for improvement as the situation normalizes.
