CBC Maintains Countercyclical Buffer Rate at 1.5%

The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) announced that it will maintain the countercyclical capital buffer (CCyB) rate at 1.5%.

The decision, in accordance with the Macroprudential Supervision of Institutions Laws of 2015 to 2022, will be effective from January 14, 2026.
