Cyprus to Allocate €64 Million for Water Resource Management

Cyprus will allocate €64 million to strengthen its water resource management as part of the European Union's readjustment of investment priorities.
The initiative, which concerns almost 10% of the total cohesion policy budget, is part of the mid-term review of programs, accelerated due to geopolitical developments and increasing challenges.
The EU is redirecting €34.6 billion from cohesion policy funds to critical sectors such as competitiveness, defense, energy security, and the resilience of natural resources.
