Cyprus Leads in Flights from Israel – Data Revealed

Cyprus holds the top position in the number of flights departing from Israeli airports, according to data from the Israel Airports Authority (IAA). It shares fourth place with Italy in terms of passenger numbers.
Specifically, Cyprus handles 186 flights per week from Israeli airports (Tel Aviv and Haifa).
Regarding passenger traffic, Greece remains first with 2.2 million passengers, followed by the USA (1.6 million), the United Arab Emirates (1.5 million), Italy and Cyprus (1.2 million each).
Israel is the second largest tourist market for Cyprus after the United Kingdom.
Israeli media estimate that the number of passengers from Israel will increase to 22 million in 2026 from 18.4 million in 2025.
Cyprus recorded a 42.6% increase in arrivals from Israel.
