Cyprus: Third Highest Passenger Traffic Increase in Europe

Cyprus recorded the third highest increase in air passenger traffic in Europe for the first half of 2025, according to a report by ACI EUROPE.
While the European airport network saw an average increase of 4.5%, Cyprus stood out with an 11% increase. Larnaca airport recorded an 18% increase, while Paphos airport remained stable.
Significant contributions to the increase came from Israel (+22%), the United Kingdom (+15%), Greece (+11%), and Poland (+11%).
Airlines such as Wizz Air, Cyprus Airways, and Aegean Airlines contributed to the increase through enhanced routes.
