Cyprus: Lowest Percentage of Women in Management Positions in the EU

In 2024, Cyprus recorded the lowest percentage of women in management positions in the European Union, at 25.3%. The EU average was 35.2%, according to Eurostat data.
The countries with the highest percentages are Sweden (44.4%), Latvia (43.4%), and Poland (41.8%). After Cyprus, the lowest percentages were observed in Croatia (27.6%) and Italy (27.9%).
Since 2014, Cyprus has seen an increase of +7.9% in the percentage of women in management positions.
The data was published by Eurostat on the occasion of International Women's Day.
