Logicom Profits Surge 104% to €24 Million in 2025

Logicom announced a profit increase of 104.3%, reaching €23.9 million in Q1 2025, compared to €11.7 million in the same quarter of 2024. This increase is mainly due to higher other income, lower net financing expenses, and the write-off of negative goodwill from the investment in Demetra Holdings Plc.

Despite the profit increase, the Group's gross sales decreased by 11.5%. Distribution sector sales decreased by 8.2%, while sales in the software and integrated IT solutions sector decreased by 42.9%.

The gross profit margin increased to 7.8% from 7.5% in Q1 2024. Other income increased to €925,947, mainly due to compensation from the subsidiary Logicom Italia s.r.l amounting to €762,462.

Administrative expenses increased by 8%, while profit from operating activities decreased by 27.8%. Demetra Hodings expects improved profits for the first half of 2025.
