Nestle CEO Laurent Freixe Fired Over Undisclosed Relationship

Nestle CEO Laurent Freixe has been dismissed following an investigation that revealed an "undisclosed romantic relationship" with a subordinate. The company deemed his behavior a violation of its code of business ethics.

The dismissal comes after Freixe's 40-year career with the group. Bulcke stated that Nestle's values are the strong foundation of the company.

A similar case occurred at BP in September 2023, when CEO Bernard Looney resigned for concealing personal relationships with colleagues.
