Marginal Electricity Supply in Cyprus – Potential Power Cuts

Marginal coverage of electricity demand is expected today in Cyprus, with the Cyprus Transmission System Operator (DCMK) warning of potential power cuts due to technical problems and limitations.

According to a DCMK announcement, the situation is most critical between 18:30-22:00. If cuts are deemed necessary, their duration will not exceed 30 minutes for each consumer group.

The DCMK appeals to consumers to reduce electricity consumption during these specific hours in order to avoid cuts.
