President Notes Significant Growth in Cyprus' Defense Industry

The President of the Republic welcomed the opening of the third international defense and security conference in Nicosia, noting the significant growth in Cyprus' defense industry.

He emphasized that Cyprus is evolving into a substantial contributor to the European defense ecosystem and dual-use technologies. Cypriot companies have attracted approximately 48 million euros in direct funding, enhancing their technological capabilities and industrial capacity.

This contributes to establishing Cyprus as a reliable co-producer in the European defense supply chain.
