Property Transfer Tax Amendments Go Digital via myPROPERTY

As of yesterday, amendment declarations for Property Transfer Tax (ΦΜΑ) are submitted digitally via the AADE's myPROPERTY platform. This change concerns the drafting of notarial deeds for the establishment, modification, and abolition of horizontal and vertical properties.

According to decisions by the AADE governor, Giorgos Pitsilis, the process is simplified by integrating new categories of declarations into the myPROPERTY platform, aiming to facilitate taxpayers.

The new digital process concerns amendment declarations for:

• Establishment of horizontal or vertical properties
• Modification or abolition of the establishment of horizontal or vertical properties

Submissions are made via the myPROPERTY platform, on the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr), under Applications > Popular Applications > myPROPERTY (including myPROPERTY declarations via Tax Office/KEFOK), reducing bureaucracy in property transfers.

Conditions:

For successful completion, the following conditions must be met cumulatively:

• The initial ΦΜΑ declaration must have been submitted digitally via the myPROPERTY application or myPROPERTY via Tax Office/KEFOK.
• The relevant notarial document for the establishment, modification, or abolition of the properties must not have been drafted yet.
