Sklavenitis: Papantoniou Acquisition to Conclude in 2025

The complete merger of Sklavenitis Cyprus and Papantoniou companies is expected to be finalized by December 31, 2025.

According to a related announcement, the merger will help achieve economies of scale through operating costs and better utilization of the stores' brand name, for the benefit of consumers.

It is recalled that on October 18, 2024, the Commission for the Protection of Competition gave the green light for the acquisition of Papantoniou supermarkets by Sklavenitis.

Now Sklavenitis stores in Cyprus number 27, and according to the company, all 769 jobs have been retained.
