Shipping Agents Association: Strike causes chaos in Limassol's supply chain

The Shipping Agents Association has expressed strong concern about the ongoing strike of transporters A' at the port of Limassol, stressing the serious impact on the supply chain and the credibility of Cyprus.
The strike has caused prolonged dysfunction, leading to a complete halt of unloading at the Limassol Container Terminal. Storage areas are saturated, and ships remain immobilized.
Shipping companies have already made route changes, omitting Cyprus, which affects imports and exports. The Association calls for an immediate solution to restore the smooth operation of the ports.
