EAC Workers to Join 3-Hour Strike Over Cost of Living Allowance

EAC workers will participate in the three-hour island-wide warning strike decided by trade unions. The aim of the strike is the reinstatement and full recovery of the Cost of Living Allowance (ATA).

The strike will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 11:00 – 14:00. The unions EPOPAH, SIDHEKEK, SEPAIK, SYVAIK have called on their members to participate massively in the rallies that will be held in all cities.

The unions stated that any necessary exceptions for staff or sectors will be announced at a later stage.
