Transporters 'A' End Indefinite Strike

The indefinite strike by transporters 'A', which began last Monday, is coming to an end. The general secretary of POBEK, Kyriakos Moustakas, stated to RIK that the transporters will return to work at three in the afternoon.

A meeting with the President of the Republic preceded this, after which Mr. Moustakas left open the possibility of ending the strike, after the members of the association are informed.

Due to the strike, hundreds of containers remained trapped, threatening to paralyze trade.
