Vafeadis: Electric Vehicle Scheme to Exhaust Quickly

Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeadis, expressed his belief that the new grant scheme for electric vehicles will be exhausted quickly. The scheme includes 97 grants that remained unallocated from the previous Recovery Fund scheme.

Following the completion of the existing scheme, the Government will allocate €2.5 million from state funds for a new scheme. Vehicle registration for the current scheme must be completed by 31/12/2025, and for the next one by October 31, 2025.

Mr. Vafeadis also mentioned the installation of new models of smart bus stops, starting from areas with limited use and progressing to areas with increased use.
