Global VC Investments Reach $101 Billion in Q2 2025

Global venture capital (VC) funding reached $101.05 billion in the second quarter of 2025, according to KPMG's Venture Pulse. Despite a decrease from $128.4 billion in Q1, investments remained strong, with America attracting $72.7 billion.

Asia recorded subdued VC investments, with only $12.8 billion. Investors are focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) and defencetech. The largest deal was the $14.3 billion investment in Scale AI.

Pangratios Vanezis of KPMG Cyprus, commented that Cyprus can leverage its strategic position to attract regional investments, especially in the fintech, defencetech, and emerging technologies sectors.
