A man named Matthew Bettencourt, known as @RetroToyEnvy, found a David Yurman bracelet in a thrift store and bought it for $3. The bracelet's value is estimated at over $700.

The discovery video went viral on YouTube. Bettencourt spotted the bracelet among other cheaper jewelry.

The bracelet had markings indicating 18-karat gold (750) and silver (925). The original price of the David Yurman bracelet was $750.

Bettencourt sold the bracelet on eBay for $480.
