Warner Bros recorded a 6% revenue decline in the quarter, reaching $9.5 billion. The company is also at the center of acquisition scenarios and proposals.

Streaming subscribers increased by 3.5 million, reaching 131.6 million worldwide. Streaming revenue increased by 5% to $2.8 billion, but adjusted earnings decreased by 4% to $393 million.

Traditional activities faced pressure, with revenue from the film and television studio sector declining by 23% to $728 million. In the television unit, revenue decreased to $4.2 billion (a 12% decrease), and adjusted earnings plummeted by 27% to $1.4 billion.

The Warner Bros board is considering Paramount's revised proposal compared to a potential merger with Netflix. Netflix has four business days to revise its offer in the event of a superior agreement.
