Cyprus: New opportunities for wine exports via CAP 2023-2027

The Ministry of Agriculture announced new opportunities to promote Cypriot wines in non-EU markets through Intervention EPSA 5 of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027.

The action, in collaboration with the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (CAPO), aims to improve the competitiveness of the Cypriot wine sector.

Available amount: €300,000, with European participation covering up to 50% of eligible expenses. The action will be implemented from 2025 to 2027.

Beneficiaries can participate in actions such as public relations, advertising, international exhibitions, information campaigns on European quality systems (PDO, PGI), and market research.

Applications for participation are due by December 31, 2025, according to the instructions in the Implementation Manual on the CAPO website (www.capo.gov.cy).
