160 Fire Victims Sheltered in Homes and Hotels

One hundred and sixty people affected by the fires have been sheltered through Civil Defence, according to statements by the agency's spokesperson, Chara Lazarou, to the Cyprus News Agency.
The victims were transferred to homes, hotel rooms, apartments, or accommodation centers, spaces that have been voluntarily provided. Those wishing to apply for assistance can call 25-811024.
Civil Defence is also hosting 60 people from Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon who have come to help. The hiking unit of 26 forest commandos from Greece is being hosted in the Larnaca area.
A large amount of humanitarian aid has been collected, and an appeal is being made for financial contributions to the account opened by the General Accounting Office.
