29 Years Since the Murder of Tassos Isaac in Deryneia

On August 11, 1996, Tassos Isaac was murdered in the buffer zone of Deryneia during an anti-occupation motorcycle protest. The mobilization was organized by the Cyprus Motorcycle Federation, with participation from all over Europe, in protest against the Turkish occupation.

Approximately 200 motorcyclists from 12 countries participated in the march, which started from Berlin and was headed to occupied Kyrenia, marking the 22nd anniversary of the 1974 Turkish invasion.
