US Experts Arrive in Cyprus to Investigate Deadly Wildfire

Federal experts from the United States are arriving in Cyprus tonight, following an invitation from President Christodoulides to assist in the investigation and assessment of the handling of the deadly wildfire.

The experts will begin their work tomorrow and will remain in Cyprus for ten days. After completing their investigations, they will present an initial assessment. They will conduct an on-site inspection of the fire area, focusing on the point from which the first sources of smoke were reported.
