Repatriation Flight Arrives from Saudi Arabia with 82 Passengers

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of a Cyprus Airways repatriation flight from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, carrying 82 passengers.

The flight was chartered by the National Crisis Management Center, in coordination with the Cypriot Embassies in Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. It transported Cypriot citizens, their family members, other permanent residents of Cyprus, as well as European citizens who had been stranded in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked the Saudi Arabian authorities for their assistance in the repatriation effort.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Missions will continue to provide assistance to citizens remaining in the region.
