EAC to Subsidize Electricity Bills for Fire Victims in Limassol

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced support measures for those affected by the fire in the mountainous region of Limassol.

The EAC will subsidize the last issued electricity bill for residential and business customers, with a maximum amount of €500. Eligibility requires registration on the list prepared by the competent Local Authority.

In addition, all electricity disconnections in the affected areas are suspended until September 30, 2025, including cases with existing overdue debts. No disconnection notices will be sent, nor will supply interruption measures be taken.
