Share on:

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced support measures for those affected by the fires in the Limassol district.

The measures include:

  • Electricity bill subsidy of up to €500 for affected residential and business customers. The EAC will automatically subsidize the latest electricity bill, without any action required from the beneficiaries, provided they are registered on the list of affected individuals by the local authorities.
  • Suspension of electricity disconnections until September 30, 2025, for all customers in the affected areas, including those with existing overdue debts. No disconnection notices will be sent, nor will any disconnection measures be taken for unpaid bills.

For clarifications, those interested can contact the EAC Customer Service Center at tel. 99399254 or via email at [email protected].

The EAC states that it is on the field and working to restore the damages.
