Immediate Improvements to Paphos Airport Road Due to New Road Delays

The existing road connecting Paphos Airport with the city of Paphos via the community of Timi will be immediately upgraded to meet the increased needs of tourism and road traffic.

The new, incomplete road to the airport remains pending due to environmental objections. Despite efforts, its completion is delayed.

Following a visit by the Parliament's Committee on Transport, Communications and Works on June 27, it was decided to immediately start a study for the electrification of the existing road and to promote a regulatory plan for further improvement.

The new Airport-Coral Bay road remains incomplete due to objections regarding the protection of flora and fauna in the area of the Ezousa river.
