Recall of Cypriot Coffee Makers Due to Safety Hazard

The Department of Electromechanical Services has announced a recall of Cypriot coffee makers from the brands RAF and SILVER due to a serious safety hazard for users.

Specifically, the recalled coffee makers are:

  • RAF, model R.150 (220-240 V, 600 W, 50/60 Hz). Distributors: K. Konstantinou & Sons Ltd/CYCLE TECH LTD.
  • SILVER, model LB170 (220-240 V, 650 W, 50/60 Hz). Distributors: CYCLE TECH LTD/Savvas A. Ioannou.

The devices pose a risk of burns due to overflow during operation, interruption of operation, or lifting from the base. Consumers are urged to return the products to the distributors for compensation.

The Department of Electromechanical Services requests that anyone aware of sales points or needing information contact them. Consumers can find information about dangerous products through the EU's Safety Gate.
