Biocidal Product 'DESO SCRUB' Recalled from European Market

A biocidal product with the trade name 'DESO SCRUB' has been withdrawn from the European market, according to the Rapid Exchange of Information System (RAPEX).

There is no clear information regarding the countries to which the product was exported. The Department of Agriculture in the Republic of Cyprus is conducting an investigation to locate it in the market, even though it is not licensed in Cyprus.

The public is urged to immediately discontinue use of the product if they possess it and to contact the Department of Agriculture at 22408633 or 22408550 if it is found on the market.
