Re-enactment in Strovilia for Trial of 5 Greek Cypriots

The "military court" in occupied Nicosia approved a request for an on-site investigation and re-enactment at the Strovilia roadblock in the "case" of the 5 Greek Cypriots. Today's "hearing" was adjourned after the announcement of the decision, so that the "judicial body", the lawyers and the "defendants" could go to the scene.

The "prosecuting authority" argued that the on-site investigation would contribute to "the administration of justice". The defense expressed opposition, calling the request an attempt to cover up deficiencies in the "interrogation", as the lighting and weather conditions are different.

According to Turkish Cypriot media, before the decision, the "prosecuting authority" presented a soldier as a witness. The procedure is now being moved to the Strovilia roadblock.
