Troulloi Square Renovation: Over €2 Million

The renovation project of Agios Mamas Square in the Troulloi Municipal District of Aradippou Municipality, costing over €2 million, is expected to be co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development of the European Union.

The proposal, submitted under the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 and the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy 2023-2027, has been positively evaluated.

According to the Municipality of Aradippou, the renovation aims to improve the functionality, aesthetics, and accessibility of the square, enhancing social cohesion and local development.

The project includes upgrading the square, the road network, undergrounding services, installing urban equipment, planting trees, creating green spaces, and constructing an event stage. The surrounding area of the Agios Mamas churches will also be developed.

The Mayor of Aradippou, Christodoulos Partou, stated that the project will give new life to the community and upgrade the daily life of the residents.
