Uproar among mental health nurses and doctors regarding OKYpY's decisions to relocate external departments and consolidate community mental health nursing sectors. PASYNO and PASYKI unions express strong reactions, claiming the decisions lead to service reduction.

The Mental Health Directorate, with Anna Paradeisioti, clarifies that the relocations do not involve facilities within Athalassa Hospital, but rather the THEMEA building (Therapeutic Unit for Addicted Individuals). Specifically, the Center for Multiple Interventions will be moved to the first floor of the THEMEA building, which has modern spaces.

The relocation of the Center for Multiple Interventions, currently housed in a rented building in western Nicosia, aims to facilitate access for citizens from the Nicosia, Larnaca, and Famagusta provinces.

Regarding the 'Anosi' Detoxification Unit, Ms. Paradeisioti stated that there is currently no decision to relocate it.

Additionally, Phase B of the Athalassa Hospital upgrade is progressing, with the issuance of guidelines for conducting a feasibility study.
