As of March 2, 2026, the new call for revised Housing Plans for the revitalization of mountainous, remote, and disadvantaged areas, as well as rural areas, is in effect.

The Ministry of Interior announced improvements aimed at making the plans more attractive, within the framework of the state's housing policy. The plans have been implemented since 2019 and aim to provide financial assistance for acquiring owner-occupied housing.

Changes include a 20% increase in financial assistance for displaced beneficiaries, a €5,000 increase in the maximum assistance for the Rural Plan, and a €5,000 increase in income criteria.

Additionally, the maximum financial assistance for special constructions in mountainous and disadvantaged areas is increased by €5,000, and by €15,000 in extremely mountainous areas.

Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2027.
