School Upgrades by the Municipality of Piraeus

The Municipality of Piraeus is carrying out maintenance and upgrade works on school buildings of all levels in anticipation of the new school year. The works include painting and repairs to improve the safety and aesthetics of the school units.

Work has been completed at: Gymnasio Kaminiwn, 9th Gymnasium, 3rd Gymnasium, Ralleio Dimotiko, 40th Dimotiko, 2nd Dimotiko (Uruguay), 38th Dimotiko, 4th Gymnasium, 36th Dimotiko, 36th Nipiagogeio, 22nd Dimotiko, 57th Nipiagogeio and 54th Nipiagogeio.

The Mayor of Piraeus, Giannis Moralis, stated that the works aim to provide a safer and more beautiful school environment for students and teachers. Charalampos Liakostavros, the Municipal Councilor in charge, mentioned that the works started in June and are continuing intensively.
