The "hearing process" for the case of the five Greek Cypriots, who are accused of "illegal entry into a military zone," was adjourned by the "military court" in the occupied territories until August 21. The decision to postpone was taken after all five refused to admit to the charges against them.

During today's proceedings at the "military court" in occupied Nicosia, the five Greek Cypriots pleaded not guilty to the charges. The "judge" stated that, as none of the defendants pleaded guilty, the process could not proceed otherwise. She also stated that the adjournment would not cause a significant delay in the process.

She ordered the "prosecuting authority" to hand over the case file details to the defense lawyers for them to study, as they had not had access to them until now. According to the "judge," the adjournment to August 21 was deemed necessary to allow both sides time to prepare for the next "hearing."

At the same time, the "court" accepted the request of the lawyers for a medical examination of three of the five detainees, ordering their immediate transfer to a doctor to check their health status.
