Annie Alexui to Testify Through Lawyer to Cypriot Authorities

Ioanna Fotiou, known as Annie Alexui, announced via a video on social media her decision to testify to the Cypriot Authorities.

Annie Alexui had mentioned in a television appearance that she had not received a phone call from the Authorities, even though she publicized her number. The Minister of Justice had stated that a legal way was being sought to take a statement.

In the video, Ioanna Fotiou explained that she decided to proceed through a lawyer from Cyprus, after relevant advice. The lawyer Andreas Christou had mentioned that this is a possible solution to take a statement.

Annie Alexui stated that she will be cautious in her testimony and will maintain a defensive stance, awaiting the start of an investigation. She mentioned that Mr. Fytiris played a decisive role in her decision.

Additionally, Annie Alexui intends to appeal to the ECHR, with the minister responding that "everyone has the right to go to any court they want if they believe they are being wronged."
