Annita Demetriou: Support for Fire-Affected Areas in Limassol

The President of Democratic Rally (DISY), Ms. Annita Demetriou, held a meeting in Agios Amvrosios, following the devastating fires in mountainous Limassol. The meeting was attended by community leaders of the affected areas, Deputy President Mr. Efthymios Diplaros, DISY MPs, representatives of Panagrotikos, and representatives of state services such as EOA, the Police, the Fire Department, the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), and Civil Defense.

Ms. Demetriou emphasized that DISY's presence in the affected areas is substantial and targeted, aiming to provide immediate support and guidance to citizens. She also stressed the need for immediate implementation of government announcements without delays and bureaucracy, as well as a specific plan for the restoration and reinforcement of the area.

DISY is committed to supporting immediate and long-term solutions for the revitalization of the communities, with the aim of ensuring the dignity, safety, and hope of the residents.
